What To Bring & How to Order Your Barbecued Chicken
Bring the usual - your good humour, a dish to pass, your beverages, and your own dinnerware. If you have folding chairs, please bring those also to add to our seating!
Call Shirley to order the # of halves of barbequed chicken you want for your family. The estimated charge at this time is $6 per chicken half. Please have your order in by July 12th.
Prayers Over the Passing On of a Loved One
We are saddened at the death of Don Jackson on May 31st after battling lung cancer for the past few years. We have fond memories and blessings from his life here. Our sympathies go out to his beloved wife Janet, brother Jack and his son Jeramy and family. Please pray for them.

Wow!! Building this web site has been a walk into the past for me. It may become one for you as well, which, I trust will be a good thing. After all, it is written we should "remember ... The only thing worse than nostalgia is amnesia."
I originally offered Mother the site as a way to provide you with a link to each new Millis Wood Family Directory. But past thoughts can blossom into future ones and now there are in my view 3 main things we can build upon and provide here...
- A way to keep current with family news & events and also prayer needs (we know Mother is a warrior).
- A place to share our cherished family pictures and also eventually add these into the directory itself.
- A place to share the heart-spoken/written words of our ancestors and ourselves for posterity.
So please keep the above in mind and contact me with your ideas and/or info from your own archives which can be added in for the good of all and so let us keep building!
